WHAT YOUR TIGHTS ARE MADE OF?

Tights usually contain polyamide and elastan or lycra. Mixed with polyamide yarn lycra gives to your tights durability.
Elasticity provided by lycra streches the fabric around your leg, by making the tights more resistant.
Your tights can also contain microfiber. Microfiber yarn makes tights softer and therefor more pleasant to feel against your skin.
During cold winter months it is sensible to go for tights containing cotton, wool or cashmiere.
Such natural yarns are combined with elastan, so your tights will look good even after several washing.
Especcially exclusive tights contain silk or are made or silk. Silk is 100% natural material, cooling in warm weather and givin warmth in cold weather. Tights containing silk are usually expensive, but once you try it, you can become addicted on how it feels against your skin.
Bamboo yarn is also natural, strong and durable. Compared to cotton, bamboo yarn is softer, with very light shine. Bamboo products are kind for your skin. Bamboo is thermo regulating - cooling in warm weather and givin warmth in cold weather.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOLD UPS AND STOCKINGS?

Stockings are meant to be used with suspender belt.

Hold-ups are holding up with silicone or rubber band. Silicone is reacting with body temperature, keeping the hold-ups from rolling down. Silicone is very delicate material, so hand wash is recommended for your hold-ups.
